Sarah Needham Bates emigrated to Canada in 1832.
There was a Valentine Needham in Prince Edward Island as early as 1819.
We assume they are siblings (I no longer remember why we make the assumption, but anyway).
Possible children of Valentine (they appear later in P.E.I. records) are:
Edward
William
Elizabeth
James

There was also a William Needham listed as a farmer - and I thought it was in the same 1864 Directory, but it may have been in 1871.
