Sarah A Bothwell

1848-1866

We know nothing about Sarah besides her birth and death dates. She was the second child of Jeremiah and Sarah, born 24 Jul 1848 in Illinois. She died 13 Apr 1866 and is buried in the Garden Plain Cemetery. She is on the outside row and when we visited the cemetery in the summer of 2000, her stone had fallen and was sliding down the side of the hill. David uncovered it (it was face down in the mud naturally) and set it back up, but who knows how long it will stay. It was an obelisk, on a pedestal. There was a carved dove, then the inscription:
