Well, I spent a lot of time this fall (2007) working on the Conners, but I still know no more than I did at the beginning:
Nancy J Conner married Jonathan B Lusk in Warrick County, Indiana in 1852; they appear on the 1860 census; they divorce in 1862 - and that’s it. I don’t know who Nancy’s parents were, nor where or when she was born, died, or was buried.
This is the information I have gathered about the Conners of Indiana so far.
Please note that a lot of this information comes from other researchers, many of whom got it from still others - and each and every one of us could have made typos or other mistakes at any step in the process - so be warned and be wary.

The links will take you to biographies published as part of the Conner Prairie History Online series. I don't think we are related to them, but it's interesting reading anyway.
Conner Prairie is a Living History Museum, and they have published some wonderful articles - not only these biographies, but also social history, histories of Native Americans (and their relations with whites), and also a lot of primary documents - it is really worth while to check them out.
Southern Indiana Conner/Connors
Perry County Connors - This is the group I think is related to our Nancy - but I have no proof
Almost all of the Perry County Connors descend from Terrance O'Connor - but some of them eventually move to Spencer or Warrick County . . .
Terrance O'Connor from Ireland
His sons: Terrance, John, Sam
(actually I have no information about Sam)
Terrance 2's wife, Sarah Jane Speakes (not much info, but some links)
Children of Terrance 2 (brief outlines)
Sons of Terrance 2 in more detail (Dade, Samuel, John, Terrance, Will)
Dade's children,
Samuel's children, John's children, Terrance's children, Will's children
(what little I have on them)

Spencer County Conners
Some of these descend from Ishmael Conner (most of whose children move on to Texas); others from Abner, who might possibly be related to the Connersville/Conner Prairie Conners. The Ishmael Conners intermarry with the Hudsons of Warrick County.

Warrick County Conners
One very early group comes from the Spencer County Conners; most of them move on to Texas. John Conner, who is supposedly related to the Perry County Connors, shows up in 1840 - and most of the Warrick County Conners are descended from him - except for, as far as I can tell, my Nancy.
