The names of the children, their birthdates and spouses, come from Rootsweb files -
sometimes there is supporting evidence (censuses etc), sometimes not (that I know of).
There is some confusion - some people say the older children (down to and including James Thomas) were born in Virginia -
~1785 born - Virginia or Kentucky (some say Truro Parish, Prince William County, VA)
~1785 - family moved to Washington County, Kentucky
~1798 - family moved to Breckinridge County, Kentucky
1806 - brother Samuel moved to Perry County (then Warrick), Indiana - father and some brothers followed
1814 Nov 6 - married Marilla Main (~1793-bef Jan 1849) Perry County, Indiana
(History of Perry County says Marilla's last name was Crow.)

Corn Creek Baptist Church - March 1839
This is a little confused, and a little not explained. At first I thought it was just a membership list, and it does seem to be that - but not simply from 1839 - later dates are included. I am not sure if “dis. by letter” means the person was joining, having shown a letter of dismission from another church, or whether the person was leaving, taking a letter of dismission with him or her.
