Derr, Matthias, Elizabeth, W4940, PA line, sol appl 15 Jan 1834 Lebanon Cty PA aged nearly 90 a res of Heidelberg Twnshp PA, sol was b 15 Feb 1744 in Wirtenberg Europe & came to America at age of 9 yrs with his parents & their 3 other children (sol was the 2nd child) & they landed at Philadelphia PA & his father 1st lived at Germantown PA then moved to Trap in Montgomery Cty PA & shortly afterwards sol’s mother died, sol later moved to White Marsh near Germantown PA then moved to Reading in Berks Cty PA where he enl, sol & wid m 22 Feb 1786 at Reading PA & later moved to near Philadelphia PA for 14 yrs then moved back to Heidelberg Twnshp (then Dauphin but now Lebanon Cty PA), wid appl 12 Sep 1843 Lebanon Cty PA aged 90, wid’s maiden name was Elizabeth Stickler, sol d 17 Apr 1836, wid’s bro Peter Stickler was aged 78 in 1843

John S12762, Cont and PA line, sol was b 6 Apr 1760 in Northampton Cty PA & lived in Philadelphia Cty PA at enl, appl 10 Nov 1842 Frederick Cty MD while living with a son not named, sol d 15 Jul 1854, in 1853 sol's daughters Elizabeth aged 58 & Catherine aged 56 were living in Carroll Cty MD & a bro was referred to as being aged 64 but he wasn't named.
Apparently there is another pension application for him, dated 1843 - says he was b. 6 Apr 1760 Northampton County, lived 1761-1786 in Philadelphia Co, moved to York Co 1786, to Baltimore Co, MD in 1812, then Frederick [->Carroll] in 1826. [info from Robert Lewis]
