3. Isaac
1820 born - 25 Mar 1820, Cumberland Co, Ky
I have no explanation for why he should have been born in Cumberland, when Henry and Amelia were living in Butler County in 1820 - maybe
they made a jaunt there, or maybe they moved there first before moving on to Hickman County. It is actually a little south and east of Butler County (at
least on today's map - might have been different back then). But this is what it says on his obit.
1830 census - with Henry & Amelia, Hickman Co, Ky
(either John or Isaac is missing - or else John is listed as under 5, and William is not yet born)
(or else John is listed as 11 or else Isaac is listed as 10 or else JW is not listed at all)

Obituary 5 May 1905 Boonville Standard
Isaac Deweese was born March 25, 1820 in Cumberland county Ky., and died at his home northwest of Boonville April 27, 1905, after an illness extending over several months. He bore his sufferings with great fortitude and when death relieved him of his earthly sufferings he was righteously propared to meet his Heavenly Father, for he had led an honest, upright and charitable life.
Mr. Deweese was married to Miss Louisa Sams July 4, 1849. She died March 23, 1878, and on April 27, 1879, he was married to Miss Ann Smith.
He leaves a wife, two brothers, six children 25 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, besides other relatives and many friends.
The funeral services were conducted at the residence at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon by Rev. D. V. Ketcham. Interment at Cross Road cemetery. - R.E. Walker
