I have not done a lot of looking for Deweeses in Illinois.
Our people were there (in Johnson County) for a brief spell between 1830 and 1850. Most of them returned to Kentucky - some stayed, but our guy moved on to
Indiana.
This is pretty random information I accumulated when I didn't know who we connected with.
