Our branch of the Deweeses moved to Indiana probably after 1854, but definitely before 1860 - Absalom is on the 1860 census in Warrick County that year
(twice!).
It is very nice country, and they stayed there -
All these other Indiana Deweeses are unknown, but, since all Deweeses in the U.S. presumably descend from Adriaen Hendricksz, they are distant cousins.
