Dewees, Isaac S35889, Navy Srv (PA) appl 30 Mar 1818 in the Dist of DE aged 67, vet enl at Philadelphia PA, in Apr 1818 one Samuel Dewees was aged 55 & stated he lived within ½ mile of Isaac Dewees since he could remember but no relationship was stated, in 1820 vet was living at Dover in Kent Cty DE & stated he was aged 70 ? with a wife aged 50 & upwards & 1 child aged about 10 yrs

             Samuel or Samuel Deweese, Julia Ann, W9405, BLW #267-60-55 & BLW #9296-100-28 Jun 1799 assignee Abr'm Bell, PA Line, sol enl at Reading in Berks Cty PA by his father Samuel Deweese, Sr. a recruiting Sgt who d at the Allentown PA Hosp after the battle of Brandywine, sol appl 17 Jun 1818 Baltimore Cty MD & in 1820 he had lately lost his wife & he had children; Andrew about 5 & Mary aged 3, sol m 2nd to Julia Ann (--) 29 Feb 1824 in Baltimore Cty MD& sol d. there 6 Aug 1846 in the part that later became Carroll Cty MD, wid appl 24 Feb 1853 Baltimore MD aged 68.

Deweese, Hezekiah or Hezekiah Dewses or Dewse, Annis, W7014, NC Line, sol was b 28 Mar 1760 in DE & in 1772 his parents moved to Caswell Cty NC, sol appl 28 May 1833 Mecklenburg Cty NC where he had moved in 1800, sol m Annie or Annes (--) 12 Aug 1784 at her father's in Caswell Cty NC & she was b 23 Dec 1767, sol d 25 Jul 1839, wid appl 23 Oct 1843 Mecklenburg Cty NC, wid d 8 Nov 1844, children were; Jonathan b 6 Sep 1785, Marchant b 19 Jul 1787, William b 8 Mar 1789, Mary b 3 Jan 1796 & she m a McKibing, Nancy b 2 Oct 1799 & she m a Davis, Patsy or Martha b 9 Jun 1802 & Rachel b 20 Jan 1806, all of the children survived the wid except Jonathan, in 1833 one Isaiah Dewese was aged 69 & was at the wedding of sol & wife, a Hiram Deweese was mentioned but their relationship wasn't stated
