B 2 Sep 1812, Lewrana C. B 22 Sep 1814, Rebecca T. B 9 Apr 1815, Aleatha C. B 12 Jun 1817, Elizabeth Ann b 2 Feb 1818, James H. B 30 Nov 1821, Mary Ann b 14 Aug 1823, Martha b 24 Jan 1826 & Henryette b 26 Nov 1828 (all surnamed Harper)

Hughs of Stanford KY, Thomas Hughs of Marion Co KY & Mary Hughs res not given, one James M. Russell of Adair Co KY was mentioned in 1850 relationship not given, sol’s son John S. Hughs srv in the War of 1812 & was in the battle of “Dudley’s Defeat”
