1765-1832
New Hampshire - New York
Peter -> Richard -> Seth -> Jerediah -> Savory
Savory Pattee - the name was his grandmother’s cognomen - was born 17 July 1765 in Salem (Rockingham County), New Hampshire. He was the second Savory Pattee to be born to Jerediah and Hannah Merrill Pattee. The first Savory, who was apparently their first child, was born October 18, 1760 and died October 31, 1762. Their next surviving child was a daughter, Lavinia, born 16 July 1762, and then came our Savory, and then five more children, one of them another Day Emerson.
I have not found him for the 1790 census; he seems not to be with Jerediah for that year.

Joanna, did not marry until 1791
Savory married, first, Tamson Trachey on 2 January 1793. They had two surviving children, Joshua T, born 5 May 1793 and Phineas Gordon, born 7 April 1785 (?). She died 17 April 1795 and Savory then married Fanny Knapp on 2 December 1797. Ok, something is wrong, no? It fits in with the censuses for Phineas to have been born in 1785, and Savory, born 1765, would certainly be old enough to be starting a family by then. Was he married 3 times? Or maybe he married Tamson in 1783 (typo on the marriage date) OR maybe Phineas was born in 1795 (typo on his birth date). [It makes sense for her to have died shortly after childbirth.] I am going to assume that the marriage date is a typo - .
Savory and his second wife, Fanny Knapp, had 7 children:
Day Emerson 19 August 1798
Sarah Knapp 16 June 1800
Hannah M 5 August 1802
Tamson Trachey 15 June 1804
Jonathan Blake 29 December 1806
Lydia Merrill 14 July 1810
William Eastman 19 November 1812
