James, NC Line, S4147, BLW #82519-160-55, sol enl in Surry Co NC, he appl 27 Jun 1855 Bradley Co TN aged 96 however in 1857 he stated he was aged over 100 yrs, in 1857 one J.M. Roberts made aff’dt in Bradley Co TN but no relationship to sol was given, sol was a member of the Baptist Church 61 yrs
James, Frances, NC Line, W4063, BLW #59091-160-55, sol lived in Surry Co NC at enl & sol m there to Frances Laurence on 22 Jul 1784 & sol d in said Co on 7 Jun 1834 aged 76 & his wid appl 15 Nov 1843 in Surry Co NC aged 77 & she was there in 1856, sol & wife had 9 sons & 7 daughters of which the oldest was b 22 Jun 1785 & was dec’d in 1843, the only child named was Jesse Roberts who was living in Surry Co NC in 1856, a Jonathan Roberts who was b 15 Feb 1778 made aff’dt in Surry Co NC but his relationship was not given, in Nov 1843 a Martha Forkner of Surry Co NC was at sol’s & wid’s wedding

Samuel, VA Line, S21454, appl in Oct 1834 in Greenville Dist SC aged 76, sol lived in Henry Co VA at enl & also srv as a sub for his bro Gabriel Roberts, sol was b 10 May 1758 in VA, sol had moved to NC when he enl for his 2nd tour & after the Rev he lived in NC & SC, on 31 Oct 1845 the exc’r of sol’s estate rec’d final payment & was paid to 28 Oct 1843
