Henry
According to one biography of Jesse, his father was a loyalist. According to another bio, his brother was Oba Roberts, whose son became governor of Texas. According to many online genealogies, the father of Oba Roberts was Henry (or possibly William Henry). QED!!!??? Anyway, it's the best we've got for now.

Obadiah
Jesse named his (oldest) son Obadiah.  According to one biography, he had a brother Obadiah, known as Oba, whose son became governor of Texas.  According to various online genealogies, he also had an uncle Obadiah (b 1739, also known as Oba), and a grandfather Obadiah b 1713.  The early records here surely do not refer to his brother, who was born 1769, but the ones in the 1790s probably do.

I recently found this tidbit on Joe Whitehursts file at the Rootsweb World Connect site: Obadiah Roberts and Joseph Ramage were intimate friends and at the beginning of the Revolutionary War left their wives, who were cousins, together occupying the same home while they went to fight for the Independence of the United States.
This can't refer to brother Oba, not because he was too young to fight (Andrew Jackson started fighting when he was 13), but because he was too young to have a wife, surely.  It could be the possible uncle Obadiah (b 1739) - and the early records could also possibly refer to him. And brother Oba did eventually marry Margaret Ewing, daughter of Samuel Ewing and Elizabeth RAMAGE.

John
The only thing we have going for us here is the online genealogies (one by Doyle Brittain, one by Ken Roberts, posted on the Roberts GenForum site). According to them, possible uncle John  Roberts was born ~1741 and had a son named Stephen.  Jesse in 1816 in Livingston County, KY, became the guardian of the orphans of a Stephen Roberts.
There are several John Robert/s jumbled up here, for which I apologize.
These first records I think belong to one of the Huguenots.

      1738 June 8 - Petitions for land - John R warrant for 1050a
      1738-9 Feb 9 - Petitions for land - John R 150a family right - granted
1756 Nov 2 - Petitions for land - John R 150a Santee family right and survey
      1756-60 - Will of John Roberts, p. 435
      1758 Sept 19 - John Roberts - 150 a halfway swamp, Santee R, Craven Co,
adj Wm Kerley, Richard Richardson - Royal Grant 8-403
1760 Jan 25 - Jean/John son of Pierre the minister, died.
      1773 - L&R &plat to Elias Robert (E-4, 92)
      1775-8 - L&R & plat to Elias Robert (T-4, 125)
                 - L&R & plat from James Robert (T-4, 131)
      1778 - John et al - L&R to Thomas Screven (Z-4, 439)
      1775-85 - L&R & plat to Daniel DeSaussure (M-5, 204)
      1786 - L&R from John Audibert (R-5, 334, Charleston)
               - L&R from Thomas Hamilton & ux (Q-5, 340, Charleston)
Then there was the early John Roberts, arrived before 13 May 1697. He apparently took out a warrant for land also (that is the source cited by Baldwin). There is a will for a John Roberts in 1730, but I am not sure it is the same person:
              p. 150 - Will Book 1729-1731
                  d 14 Pct 1730 - p. 8 Feb 1730/1 - r nd p. 336
John Roberts, Cousaw Island, St. Bartholomew Parish
                         sons John, Thomas
                         daus - eldest Julianna Wiatt
                         youngest - Johanna
                         mentions Thomas Ophild
ex. Son Thomas, Randall Evans, Anthony Mathews jr
wit John Sams, W M Gillvray, Henry Fendin
St Bartholomew’s Parish is south of Charleston
So one of these later Johns might be his son John, others might be grandsons (or they might be connected to the Huguenots).

other half of estate to Thomas and Mary
ex. Wife, Joseph Sanders, son Thomas
wit Robt Brown, Robt Keowin, Thos Melvin
                     dated 20 Dec 1759
Codicil - to wife: pew in Pon Pon Chapel during life, then to son
to son John - 2 lots in Dorchester town #95 and 41 or 35

                              dated 23 Dec 1759 - probate. 25 Jan 1760 - recorded nd p. 256

Benjamin?
Benjamin is the iffiest of the people included here.  He is included because possible cousin Stephen had a son named Benjamin, and because at least one Benjamin seems to be connected with the Charleston Robertses, William.
There are two Benjamins here, one possibly connected to the Huguenots (the one in Prince Frederick’s Parish), who is mostly known as Roberts, so he might not belong to the group. But James Robert is occasionally in the same locations as he is.
The other Benjamin is in the Charleston area (St Philip & St Michael Parish), and almost certainly is not connected to the Huguenots - it seems likely that he was one of the in-comers from the northern colonies.
1731 - Benjamin Roberts on Petit Jury, Prince George, Winyaw

This might the Benjamin R who married Mary Horton (problem - his son is under age at this time, and Benj & Mary were married in 1737 - unless he married again, another Mary?). And he could be the Benjamin on the juries in St Philip & St Michael’s in the 1740s and 50s. And since his brother is in Virginia, and his sister is in North Carolina, it seems possible that he is one of the immigrants from the north - ???
